Our mission is to empower confidence, encourage positivity, and leave our clients feeling nothing short of incredible. Through our exceptional services, we aim to inspire positive human connections between our staff and clients. We are committed to providing a spray tan that ‘no one knows you’ve had’ and our goal is to uplift and enhance the well-being of every individual who walks through our doors. We strive to create an environment where people feel good and leave our presence genuinely happier than they were before. At The Sorority, we know a little glow can go a long way and our promise is to leave you glowing on the outside and from the inside, too.
Laura Medved
Laura Medved is the founder of The Sorority. Referenced by many as "human sunshine", it's no surprise that Laura tailored The Sorority to be so much more than just getting a spray tan. As a Mom of two boys, she knows all too well the feeling of wishing there were more hours in the day. In 2019, she saw a genuine need for a mobile tanning service to accommodate time poor Moms as well as busy executives, growing bridal parties and corporate events. She also saw the opportunity for personal customer service she didn't seem to get at the spray tans she was booking.
Laura never imagined she would own a spray tan business but those intentions completely changed the moment she picked up a spray gun and sprayed on "confidence" for her first client! She quickly realised how rewarding it felt to make people feel beautiful and the feeling she left her clients with every appointment booked. Laura continued to perfect her craft and very soon became a highly sought after spray tan artist in Geelong. Inspired by the saying 'No Risks, No Magic' The Sorority was born!
She is dedicated to providing an exclusive spray tan experience completed in the comfort and privacy of your own home or in studio in Wandana Heights.
Georgia Roderick
Georgie's love for all things beauty, personality, vibe and love for a flawless tan are what made her a great addition to The Sorority team.
When she is not tanning she is studying law. She has an eye for detail and her passion for spray tanning has added a real spark to our socials. She is very personable, loves a chat (especially if fashion or Taylor Swift related) and has the natural ability to make clients feel comfortable in her presence.
She services the mobile tans for Ocean Grove & Barwon Heads and you can also find her in the Wandana Heights Studio.
